ScanTraceQR is a free QR code generator and link tracker. You create a tracking link or QR code that points to any URL; when someone opens it, we log their approximate location, device, browser and time, then redirect them to your destination. You view all of it on a live analytics dashboard.
How accurate is the location?
Location is derived from the visitor’s IP address, which is city-level and instant — no permission prompt. On mobile carrier networks it reflects the carrier gateway rather than the exact handset. For pinpoint accuracy you can enable optional, consent-based GPS per link, which asks the visitor’s browser for permission.
Is it really free?
